Products

  • Are used rompers any good? 
      • No, they are the best! We make sure that each romper is carefully checked on size, wear and tear, quality and stains. If it doesn’t fit our high-quality standards, we make sure to recycle the fabric and buttons for new quality products.
  • Are the rompers of good quality? 
      • Yes, they are! We have quality checks each time they return to us and wash them at a very high temperature. We check them for size, wear and tear, quality and stains.
  • Are the rompers 100% sustainable?
      • They are as sustainable as possible. Due to the high-quality of bio cotton and buttons, each romper can be 100% recycled. But we are not there yet. We still use water to clean our rompers. However, it is the only method to make sure your babies enjoy the highest standard of hygiene. But at the end of the day, it does less harm to wash and reuse our rompers than it does to produce completely new ones. 
  • Is the process of washing sustainable?
      • Because we use water in the wash process, it isn’t the most sustainable. However, it is the only method to make sure your babies enjoy the highest standard of hygiene. And at the end of the day it does do less harm to wash and reuse our rompers, than it does to produce completely new ones. 
  • What happens if I damage or a romper or a romper gets lost?
      • It happens. We are all human and things can go wrong. Just let us know at hello@red-orka.com or via Whatsapp at +31 6 341 145 65. Send a snapshot of your tragedy so we know what to expect. We do have to charge a small fee of €4,- for every romper that’s been damaged.
  • Are the rompers safe to wear?
      • Yes, we only use materials that are soft and gentle for your baby’s skin. And because of our circular knitting method, the rompers also have fewer seams than conventional rompers which ensures even more comfort.

Subscription

  • How do I purchase a subscription at Red Orka? 
      • Just click here. Let us know when you want to receive your first rompers and consider it done.
  • Is there a minimum subscription time?
      • After your first trial, you’ll stay with us for three months. After three months you can extend or cancel at any time.
  • When does my subscription start?
      • The day you see the postman or our bike delivery on your doorstep.
  • What if I change my mind about the rompers? 
      • You can return the rompers within 14 days. The rompers must be unused and we ask you to send us an email at hello@red-orka.com or a Whatsapp at +31 6 341 145 65 to let us know.
  • I’d like to cancel my subscription, what do I have to do?
      • That’s sad news! But you simply need to email us at hello@red-orka.com or send us a Whatsapp at +31 6 341 145 65 to let us know. We have a one month notice period. Note, in this last month you can still use the rompers before sending them back
  • Is there a notice period to cancel?
      • We have a one month notice period. Note, in this last month you can still use the rompers before sending them back. 

Shipment

  • When do I receive my rompers?
      • Just say when and where, and we do the rest. We do advise you to have them delivered 2 weeks before you expect to need them. If you need them earlier, contact us at hello@red-orka.com or send us a Whatsapp at +31 6 341 145 65 and we’ll try to get them to you asap.
  • How do the rompers get delivered?
      • If you are living in Amsterdam you will have them delivered by our founder Erik by bicycle. Outside Amsterdam, we send the rompers via postNL.
  • What are the shipping costs in the Netherlands? 
      • There are none. Jep, it’s free.
  • Amsterdam residents!
      • you will get your rompers delivered by Erik himself on the bike.

Payment

  • How do I pay my subscription?
      • Our subscription is monthly and starts when your order is proceeds for your first batch of rompers. With the first payment, we activate a monthly direct debit meaning you’ll be charged monthly. If you ever change your mind you can easily and swiftly stop your subscription with us.
  • What’s included in the subscription?
      • Taxes as well as any applicable delivery fees.

Return process

  • I want to return my rompers
      • Send us an email at hello@red-orka.com or a Whatsapp at +31 6 341 145 65 one month before you’d like to stop the subscription. We’ll then send you the EAN code for the return. You can put it on the box with the rompers in it and send it via PostNL.

COVID-19

  • Can you deliver the products during COVID-19?
      • Yes, even during the pandemic we will deliver the rompers to your doorstep. Of course with your health in mind. We make sure to take care of all rules and regulations.
  • Can the virus be transferred via the rompers?
      • We are not scientists. Therefore we trust het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM). They state that “outside of bodies the virus does not stay alive. The contact with products should be safe”. In addition to that, the rompers are washed at 95 degrees ensuring they are hygienic to use. Better safe than sorry.
