Our rompers are made of raw cotton. This might sound rough, but actually, it’s a soft and fluffy fiber. 

The romper has integrated buttons at the shoulders to make changing easy for you and the baby. 

Green rain overall featuring an all-over Catz print for the wettest of adventures! Made from recycled polyester and PU (polyurethane) – a durable material offering stretch in all directions. The overall has sealed seams and is waterproof with 10 000 mm water columns. The overall features a zip front with a protective inside zip, buttoned placket and elasticated cuffs, leg ends and hood. The reflective prints on the sleeves and legs increase visibility in the dark.

Padded winter overall in green with printed penguins in black, a detachable hood with faux fur, and a faux leather patch with a panda imprint at front that matches the zip sliders. The overall is highly breathable and water resistant with 10 000 mm water columns, made of a functional and heavy-duty shell fabric with taped seams and BIONIC-FINISH® ECO coating. Red Orka sleeping bag; Made to make a difference. 

Innovative fabric By engineering the fabric structure with a combination of lyocell, we were able to increase the amount of recycled cotton from 50% to 80%. Increasing softness without losing quality & durability.

Thoughtful design Normally 15% of total waste comes from cutting during the production process. We saw an opportunity for innovation, together with Makers Unite we developed a pattern that reduces this waste to only 2%!

Local and inclusive For the production of the Red Orka sleeping bag we teamed up with Makers Unite. Their atelier is based in De Hallen, Amsterdam West. They are an amazing company that focuses on inclusivity and sustainability. They provide newcomers training and an opportunity to have a fulfilling job.

Making it last Babies grow fast, they go through 8 sizes in 2 years. This means your baby wears their clothing only for a very short amount of time. Red Orka ensures an item of clothing is optimally used (or even extended) per its lifespan.

Closing the circle This sleeping bag is part of a bigger circular project. After it has kept a lot of babies warm and safe during their sleep it may become unusable. Instead of disposing of it. We are going to recycle the fabric. For us, this means shredding it into small fibers and spinning them into yarn again. We will use this fiber to make new products. That’s the circle of life.

Pants in corduroy cotton fir green. The pants are mounted on an elastic belt in the back and a tonal velvet tie on the front to adjust the size. It can be put on and taken off in a flash, and even the little ones can dress themselves! It has 2 western pockets, a small pocket for bread change, and two patch pockets on the buttocks. Stitching highlights the pockets, the waistband, and the fly area and marks the darts that come down from the pockets.
